Partnering to help others includes vision care at Hinds Feet Camp Johnson Road Headquarters, in central Monrovia. With free distribution of eyeglasses to over 250 children and adults joy and gratitude flowed.
A local ophthalmologist, Dr. Robert Dolo of the New Sight Eye Center voluntarily examined individuals and then is- sued glasses. For most participants this was a first time experience. Others were diagnosed with both severe and mild complications, which were not attended to at this time.
This in-kind donation by the Lions Club of Virginia, USA addressed the issue of an essential service to the community. Represented by Mildred Dean, Lions Club of Monrovia encouraged participants to have annual eye examination.
“I thank God for using this ministry to provide me glasses. It will help me as teacher to see better as I impart knowledge to Liberian children”. Karney Leamah.
Evangelist Anthony Jacob said, “I thank God for Hinds Feet Ministries and their effort to supply me with reading glasses without paying a cent. God bless HFM”.
Moreover, Andrew Samuka stated, “I thank God for Hinds Feet Ministries that has provided me an opportunity to test my eyes and offered me glasses. It would help me read my Bible and other books”.
“Thanks to Hinds Feet Ministries for such a gift. I appreciate your kindness to me. At least, I can see well now” says Mrs. Bartoe Massaquoi.
Doing good deeds at all times to help in national development this practical act of giving stirs hearts to see the benefits God gives on a daily basis for our well- being. As we boast in the Lord for what He has done, we also say thank you to each one who participated.
On behalf of HFM Founder and President, Rev. Trypetus E. Cooper Padmore, and Advisory Board, the Executive Director, Rev. James Lablah ex- tends profound greetings to the Lions Club for their generous donations, which have added tremendous val- ue to so many lives in Liberia. We welcome and applaud this good will for the glory of God and encourage others to bless the lives of those less fortunate.
All praise to God for the things He has done through you!
Let us continue to pray for God’s perfect will in Liberia. Amen
